The aim of the project was the fully automated creation of individual portfolios for residential and commercial properties in Switzerland. The portfolios are made up of house addresses and a wide range of socio-economic data, environmental quality parameters and remote sensing data. The data sources are predominantly public and come from official Swiss statistics, Copernicus and OpenStreetMap. The required parameters were extracted from the source data sets according to the client's specifications, merged in a big data-capable database solution and prepared for further use with BI tools (in particular Microsoft Power BI).
